A giant inflatable flying saucer promoting an upcoming UFO festival in Washington State just might be cursed, as the enormous 'alien craft' was struck by both thieves and a destructive dog in a matter of days. The sizeable piece at the center of the curious patch of bad luck is located in the city of Burien, which is set to host their annual UFO festival on August 16th. Placed at a dog park ahead of the big event, the flying saucer reportedly first experienced turbulence on July 11th when some sticky-fingered ne'er-do-wells made off with a $2,000 generator that had kept it inflated. "Burien isn't as safe and as warm and fuzzy as you might think," mused festival founder John White, who quickly acquired another generator to restore the UFO to its former glory.
