A man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after pleading guilty to the deadly mass shooting at a Fordyce grocery store last year. Travis Eugene Posey was sentenced to 220 years in prison. He entered a guilty plea to four counts of capital murder and 11 counts of attempted capital murder in Ouachita County Court. The charges stemmed from a shooting at the Mad Butcher grocery store in June 2024 where four people were killed and 11 other people were wounded.
