Arkansas homeowners and renters who suffered losses when severe storms hit the state in March and April can apply for FEMA assistance. Previous FEMA aid doesn't affect eligibility for assistance for severe weather on March 14th and 15th and April 2nd through 22nd. Residents affected by both disasters are encouraged to file a separate FEMA application for each disaster. Disaster assistance can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs and low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses.
