Trump Nominates Mike Huckabee For U.S. Ambassador To Israel Role

President-elect Trump is nominating former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee to be the U.S. Ambassador to Israel. In a statement on Tuesday, Trump said Huckabee has been a great public servant, Governor and leader in faith for many years. The President-elect said Huckabee loves the people of Israel and they love him. He added that the former Arkansas governor will work to bring peace to the Middle East. This comes as Israel is still involved in ongoing conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon.
