Little Rock Man Featured On New Game Show "Supermarket Sweep"

ABC is bringing back the classic TV game show “Supermarket Sweep,” hosted and executive produced by Emmy® Award-nominated comedienne and actress Leslie Jones. The fast-paced and energetic series follows three teams of two as they battle it out using their grocery shopping skills and knowledge of merchandise to win big cash prizes.

And the series premiere will feature a local contestant from right here in Little Rock! Ryan Pearcy will be competing along with Drew Horton for their chance to win up to $100,000 in this reimagining of the classic game show. Be sure to tune in and cheer for a local contestant on Sunday, October 18th at 7pm CDT!

Host Leslie Jones is joined by contestants (and their hometowns):

Lois Arbogast (Alberta, Canada) and Julia Warren (Vancouver, Wash.)

Chelsie Carlton (Winston-Salem, N.C.) and Jaleah Wilder (Raleigh, N.C.)

Ryan Pearcy (Little Rock, Ark.) and Drew Horton (St. Louis, Mo.)

Morgan Brown (Dallas, Texas) and Frankie Chapman (Grambling, La.)

Kelsey Hsing (Cupertino, Calif.) and Patrick Castillo (Philippines)

Sarah Lerma (Stockton, Calif.) and Chris Lerma (Capay, Calif.)

Back-to-back games follow three teams of two, clad in iconic colorful sweatshirts, as they compete against one another using their grocery shopping skills and knowledge of merchandise. Teams compete against each other for the chance to become the winning duo to play in the “Super Sweep,” a race against the clock to find five products in order to win $100,000.

Taking “Supermarket Sweep” to primetime has made everything bigger and better while holding true to what made the original show so sensational.  A whimsical grocery store was built from the ground up; big-ticket items were stocked on shelves for contestants to place in carts, and the final cash grand prize amount was amplified.
