posted by Bill Galluccio -

Could the controversial book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White Housebe coming to a television screen in the near future? According to The Hill, Endeavor Content is working to make that happen as soon as possible.

The media company reportedly "purchased the rights in a deal that is said to be worth in the seven-figure range." The author of the book, Michael Wolff will be the executive producer along with  BBC executive Michael Jackson. Endeavor Content is currently shopping the TV series to networks and hopes to make an announcement soon.

Fire and Fury debuted at number one on the New York Times Bestseller list after it was published ahead of schedule, selling 1.4 million hardcover copies in the first week alone. The book was originally slated to be released on January 15th, but Henry Holt and Co. pushed the release January 9th after President Trump's lawyers attempted to stop the publication.

The book is based on hours of interviews with White House officials and staffers. The most inflammatory quotes come from Trump's former adviser and campaign manger Steve Bannon. His quotes resulted in a public feud with the President and resulted in Bannon stepping down from his position at Breitbart News.
